Letting killer Vickrum Digwa have video calls with his jailbird mum has infuriated prison staff — and is another blow for victim Henry Nowak’s family, sources said last night.
Digwa, 23, had an application approved for online video chats — called “Purple Visits” — with Kiran Kaur, 53, despite her hiding the knife her son used to kill student Henry, 18.
The murderer, at HMP Frankland, Durham, is set to have one of the calls within weeks to Kaur, in Bronzefield Prison, Surrey.
