Natural History series Secret Garden, which is narrated by David Attenborough, has been recommissioned for a second series by the BBC, according to Broadcast.

Britain’s 30 million gardens have a combined area greater than all of our national nature reserves combined.

It turns out that our flowerbeds,

vegetable patches, lawns and ponds are home to thousands of animal and plant species - many rarely seen, most barely understood.
