Two people have been taken to hospital after a shooting near O2 Academy Islington last night (October 27).
Emergency services were called to Liverpool Road, the street running behind Angel Central Shopping Centre, shortly before 10.30pm.
Two people were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken for further medical attention. A trauma team from London's Air Ambulance was also sent to the scene.
The condition of the victims is yet to be confirmed by the Metropolitan Police. Photos taken in Angel this morning show a cordon on the pavement beside Liverpool Road and Parkfield Street, with access to the Angel Central car park blocked.
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for more information.
