Wildfires in Europe.

Firefighters in the UK and Europe have been tackling wildfires which have been continuing to spread due to the recent hot and dry weather.

In France, around forty thousand residents and tourists have been moved to safety from homes and campsites in the Gironde region in south-west France.

In Spain, firefighters are tackling wildfires in several areas close to the capital Madrid, as the country experiences its third heatwave of the summer.

Other countries such as Italy and Germany have also been affected by fires - while in North #Wales, specially trained wildfire teams are helping to tackle a large blaze in the Rhinogydd mountains.
